hammock time

well, there’s not a lot going on in the mcfadden household - by “not a lot” i mean that we’ve been plenty busy, but that there’s really not much that ranks high in blog-worthiness (is that a word?).

i thought that i’d check in anyway and leave you with a few images of life as it is right now… in winter…

speaking of winter … the weather has been beautiful lately! temperatures in the 70s and 80s with a cool breeze off the ocean… wonderful! this time of year is definitely why people move to florida.

the beach has been perfect and we’ve spent a good amount of time there… but our favorite place this time of year is in the hammock on the back porch. i really don’t think that there are many things more relaxing than lying in a hammock on a mid-70s afternoon with a light breeze looking over a lovely garden.
