we couldn't make a trip to louisville without visiting our american grandma mary k. what a special treat it was to be able to spend the afternoon with her :)
and for our friend donna, we visited her father-in-law colonel sanders' grave in the wonderful cave hill cemetery
when kirsten and i were little we used to love the spaghetti factory, a yum restaurant in an old building in downtown louisville. it's beautiful, but the best part about it : the horse carriage that waits outside and takes you on tours of downtown. it's especially nice around christmas, with the decorations and lights up.
we couldn't miss an opportunity to go back in time a little bit.
kirsten and i have photos like this that date back to when we were about 5 & 8
we had such an amazing christmas and took so many great pictures that i've kind of had a hard time trying to get everything together. here's a little taste of our wonderful family holiday
this is christmas, complete with our special head adornments :)
