christmas . spaghetti factory & traditional carriage ride

when kirsten and i were little we used to love the spaghetti factory, a yum restaurant in an old building in downtown louisville. it's beautiful, but the best part about it : the horse carriage that waits outside and takes you on tours of downtown.  it's especially nice around christmas, with the decorations and lights up.

we couldn't miss an opportunity to go back in time a little bit.

kirsten and i have photos like this that date back to when we were about 5 & 8

c

we've been eating a lot of grapefruit lately.
our tree + a huge bag from a friend...

and they've been pretty enormous.

we're definitely getting our vitamin c

:)

valentine's day was wonderful.
my favorite part: waking up to a big, lovely breakfast picnic and enjoying it with my honey :)
