lauren’s dad spent a few days with us not long ago. knowing that he possesses amazing ‘fixing skills’ we made sure to hold on to this, a not-very-well-made-but-terribly-fun motorized scooter that we’d gotten from a neighbor. it didn’t run anymore and the keys had all gotten lost, but we knew that dad could make it run like new!
sure enough! a ridiculously short amount of time and a few new parts later, our speed racer is back up and running!
be sure to notice that the pictures definitely show that lauren is much faster!
* note: even though the thing goes barely faster than a leisurely-ridden bike (maybe 12 miles an hour), faith has already managed to crash more than once, even running directly into a mailbox. unfortunately, we have no pictures of that. at least she has a helmet.
